Interesting tid bit on Fua:

Veteran player who is penciled in to start at the nose tackle position...explosive, versatile player who can also play tackle...has excellent size, speed and quickness...has played in 37 career games and has made 18 starts...played in all 12 games as a freshman in 2006 but sat out the 2007 campaign while attending a church mission.

Sione Fua did play nose tackle in a 3-4 at Stanford, but, let me tell you... The guy is good.

Fua will play the 1-tech.. but he is versatile enough to play both. Basically the Eagles have 2 DTs that are 3-tech capable. We are defintely running the Eagles 4-3 instead of the panthers cover-2 scheme, that is great news.

I don't know about this Fua fella. Seems like there's better value out there. I hope Hurney's not straying away from his BPA strategy too much.
