Cam is going to get a $50+ Million payday, so picking up a 1st round calibre defensive player later doesn't make the risk and amount of money being paid to Cam any less. The only thing that will make me feel better is Cam Newton coming to Charlotte and successfully proving he can be this team's QB.

So taking a DT 1st and getting paid that much would make you feel better? This kinda flawed logic is why a lot of people still live in the dark.

Better yes, but not satisfied. We have been neglecting the interior DL for years now and this is why it's in this sad shape currently. The last time we attempted, seriously attempted, to fix the issuse was when we brought in Kemo from the Ravens. However, even then he was a bad scheme fit. The rest have been Band Aides, excuse me, Dollar General sanitary strips.

At #65, as deep as this draft is at DT, we still won't get a really solid guy because I see another mini-run on DTs in round two. Paea will be gone.

that is true for WR, DT, QB, and you could even make a case for Safety..

therefore, we have to address all positions in the future. We need CB, DT, QB, WR (based on Smitty's status), and depth at DT and OLine..

not all of that can realistically be accomplished by 1 draft.

QB was our biggest need, let's all hope and pray Cam is TRD... NOT YOU!
