Mnnn no, He said in 1st round u pick franchise QB. Franchise QB wins championships. To win championships, you need to be good pocket passer. Newton is not a pocket passer so he's not a franchise player. (His logicl) He said maybe Newton might win championship some other way, he has no idea. He said Panthers drafted by need and not by talent. Then Mora asked Warner "Do you think Newton is franchise QB" Warner said no.

Warner said "Cam is not a franchise QB 'right now' but could be in the future." You are twisting his words. I think we can all agree on that. Cam Newton isn't a franchise QB until he proves it on the field, and that goes for all rookie QBs.

You are getting worked up over nothing. All of the analysts said Cam has a ton of potential, but they don't expect him to be a world-beater from the start. I think their analysis was spot on.

the thing warner harps on is that newton will have to throw from the pocket to be successful and he doesn't think he can do it...but i know warner hasn't studied cam b/c he was outstanding throwing from the pocket last year...warner is uneducated when it comes to cam and it shows...torry holt is an idiot...first off, he went to NC State...second off, do we not remember the cleveland game he called last year...and mora, well, he's been fired twice w/o accomplishing much with either team

This cracked me up. So you can tell he is an outstanding pocket QB off what? His 50 passes threw (not completed) from there last year?
