People who know me would laugh.

During the season, if we win big, the biggest reaction you'll see for me is to nod. If we lose, I might sigh. That's about it.

In my everyday life, I am generally so stoic and unemotional that Mr. Spock would probably tell me to lighten up.

On here, I admit I can sometimes express opinions sharply. People mistake that for emotion, I guess (could somewhat see it).

Just for perspective...

I spent the past few days going back and forth with doctor's offices while also writing a playbook for a buddy of mine who's coaching a youth flag football team.

Spent time earlier tonight helping him teach his players how to run the routes, watching them drop perfectly thrown passes and holding my tongue.

(though I did tell one kid I was gonna tie his thumbs and index fingers together if he didn't start getting his hands in the 'diamond' shape)

After all that, my buddy and I spent some time talking about things we wanted to tweak and watching a little coverage of late picks on NFL Network.

After all that, it's kind of hard to imagine being emotional about a draft pick.

This is the first draft I haven't watched from the beginning in probably more than ten years (maybe longer). Real life kind of got in the way :D

I did, however, tape it and will catch up on it in the next day or two.

(I'm fully aware that I need professional help, but I can't afford it) :(

I have a hard time supporting Newton because of his criminal history (steals laptops), lack of respect for the college game (daddy, get me some money from the school), overall arrogance (need i even go into detail?) and his lack of intelligence (wonderlic test).

On top of all that he doesn't even impress me much as a QB. I don't believe his game will work in the NFL.

This is probably the most disappointed I've ever felt as a Panthers fan.

In Pantherclaw's defense, the pundits on NFL Network said the exact same thing about that vacation comment. It was a dumb thing to say at that moment.

I certainly had some favorites over Cam, but now that he's our guy, I'm behind him 110%. I just think that he sometimes puts his foot in his mouth when he's put on the spot to comment (vacation, mental bullets, etc.). This isn't me being negative or against the kid, not everybody is great at improvisational public speaking. But no worries there. I hope he's ready to go to work, and when the facility doors open tomorrow morning, I hope he is the first one there to get that 900 page playbook and workout.

Glad you care so much about me to remember, I never once rooted against the Panthers. Since the Panthers were obviously out of it early I adopted the Colts as my playoff team last season.
