I see your point, but that was a different situation. Last year of contract with on going negotiations vs playing under the tag with no possibility of extending are completely different animals.

I'll admit I didn't have any use for him, but as I remember not only did he go to a division rival he bad mouthed the organization on the way out the door. Plus chocking a coach doesn't win points with me.

I'm a Panther's fan and IMO our best chance at success this year and in the future is to rebuild our line through the draft, we have our chance at that now, by trading Peppers for Draft picks. Doing that also allows us to pick up some mid to the low high tier players in FA in we trade him fast enough. Imagine our line having two high draft picks on it plus Rocky bernard and Bertrand Berry. I would rather have that line then our current one. I'm wanting whats best for the team and imo that's trading peppers.

I welcomed him back with a little chuckle at his contrition. He had to swallow some pride to come back after the way he left, but his motor made me glad to have him...

What's bad is that he did all that because we wouldn't let him wrestle. Lmao he wanted to continue to do so and all the contracts we offered him had a no wrestling clause in them. Left for SF with a bad taste in his mouth and said some stuff and did some stuff that would probably equate to him not being allowed back on the team if it happened today.

I've lost respect for him, completely. Yes, he hasn't been a little drama QUEEN like Ocho Cinco or Lance Briggs or T.O., but he has stepped his bounds.

He could have requested to move to a 3-4 and then subsequently shut up. But then the crap about only going to four teams and reinforcing that he wants a trade, blah blah blah.... give me break.

Especially the crap about not being able to hit his "full potential." Give me a break.

I want him out of Carolina as much as he wants out. Get rid of him ASAP and all parties will be happy to see his ass leave the state.

Luckily I don't own an Peppers merch. If I did, I would burn the small, pointless stuff, and then I'd put the rest of the crap on ebay.

I deeply respect the vocal leaders of a team and the guys that really seem to enjoy Carolina. I like buying their stuff.
