ESPN's Clayton identifies three out of the fours teams

If you want to get the word out you dont leak to the local guys....

Valid. The local guys knew of the existence of the list first. Its contents are still in question.

Peppers and Carey have apparently said that the existence of the list was never meant to be public.

(oops; I didn't mean to call that reporter and tell him that story)

This is a win-win kind of statement for Clayton... if one of those teams gets him, he looks like a great reporter. If none of them do, no one will ever confirm whether they were actually interested or not, so Clayton doesn't look bad and still looks like he had inside info whether he did or not...

Ding! We havawinnah!

Sorry. That's still a horrible idea.

I wouldn't trade Matt Moore for Colt Brennan, much less Julius Peppers.

And honestly, I don't know that I buy that Clayton has the actual teams. National guys rarely scoop the local beat reporters in Pantherland.

I don't want Brennan here either. I want draft picks for peppers or another De who is good enough in the skill set department (to get 10 - 12 sacks here) plus a second.
