ESPN's Clayton identifies three out of the fours teams

All I heard him say is that the Cowboys already have DeMarcus Ware. He didn't even mention the fact that they don't have a first.

I didn't hear him give any reasons why Washington or Philly would go for him. He only said that the Panthers wouldn't want to send him to either of those teams.

Also, he said that he thinks Peppers will remain in Carolina for at least this season, and that we would try to let time heal the wounds and sign him to a long term deal sometime this summer.

i hope thats not true....just let peppers go while he still is good trade bait

redskins wouldn't be bad...they need a replacement for andre carter..he only had 4 sacks this past season and they have the #13 pick. They are predicted to take a DE in the first round anyway. I just don't know what else they could give us because they don't have a second round pick and I doubt they want to lose their first 3 rounds of picks. Mebe first this year and a couple medium picks in next years draft....

Why would we try to force someone to stay when they have not backed down on there stance and have already said its not about the money. Lets let the guy go and get some compensation for him and let it be the end of it.

The idea doesn't seem so out of this world, now, huh?

What do you guys think about Colt Brennan? Would he and the Skins' first round pick be enough for Pep? I was just playing around with different scenarios. Someone had posted early on in the season that Pep might want to go to Washington.

I know that Brennan broke all kinds of records at Hawaii, but some questiones his effectiveness as an NFL QB. Here are some interesting links regarding Brennan and Pep to DC:

Sorry. That's still a horrible idea.

I wouldn't trade Matt Moore for Colt Brennan, much less Julius Peppers.

And honestly, I don't know that I buy that Clayton has the actual teams. National guys rarely scoop the local beat reporters in Pantherland.
