I studied in England for a semester and was there when they announced the engagement, so I probably care more for nostalgic reasons. England is a great country and I enjoyed my time there more than I can express.

Long Answer: Hell no, and why anybody other than William and Kate, and their family and friends care is way beyond me. I doubt these people ever know each other, and if they get divorced after all of this media coverage I will throw a tree.
