When to Start Short Timing

I have taken a new job and tomorrow is my last day at the current one. I haven't really hit the "short timers" mode yet. If anything, I have been busy as Hell doing knowledge transfer to make sure they don't fug up all the stuff I've done the past 3 years.

So, if you are working out a two weeks notice, when do you get in the "it doesn't effin' matter cause I got x days left" mind frame?

Here it is the day before my last day and I haven't been able to hit cruise control mode. I'm hoping to wrap up all loose ends today and not do a damn thing tomorrow, other than reimage my computer and wipe my iPad and phone to factory settings

Sounds like you handled it professionally... never burn bridges is a good idea. Never know when you'll need a reference or a favor from your old boss.

Before I got the job offer, I had planned on taking tomorrow off, driving down to Charlotte for the draft party.

Now, I am going in to work tomorrow (even though I don't plan on doing much) mainly so I can get my two weeks worth of vacation pay that is owed to me. Month's worth of pay on my next check, ftw!
