Now the NFL will appeal to the 8th circuit court, which is usually conservative and rules in favor of corporations, but the appellate court will have a very hard time overturning the decision since Nelson's opinion is so strongly worded. They'd have to disagree with everything she wrote to overturn her.

The SCOTUS most likely won't take the case, so if the 8th circuit agrees with Judge Nelson, then the players have all the leverage in the world.
