I think Cam goes first. The Bills will get desperate at the last minute and offer their 3rd rounder to move up to take Cam, while we take either Darius or Green, depending on the Broncos.

Mike sold out to the hype and was afraid to make a stand on an island. He even backed up his pick by saying we tailor the offense around him and introduce elements of the spread. Last I heard, Rivera and Chud wanted to install the Air-Coryell offense. So I guess they are going to completely abandon their plans that they came here with, and would have installed with Luck, but now will COMPLETELY change their whole offensive scheme to cater to selecting a player ranked as the #2 QB and not even in the top 10 overall of available players?

I understand the difference. Just don't understand how someone could think somehow Gabber is a better QB than Newton, admitted by Mayock, but yet still thinks we should draft the 2nd best QB because he fits us better than the best QB.

The rams didn't draft the second best QB. Neither did the Lions or the Falcons. In those drafts, the top QB prospect was selected first. If Luck came out, he would have been the top QB prospect but according to the logic of everyone saying we should take Newton, the 2nd ranked QB, we would actually take him still as the 3rd rank in a draft with Luck or would we stick with the 2nd ranked and take Gabbert leaving Luck on the board?

If you have first shot at something, why not take the best one available?

Newton, according to Mayock, is NOT the best one available, so why have us take him other than he didn't have the sack to not jump on the bandwagon.

I'm holding to Mario Williams > Reggie Bush until 8pm thursday night and if we select newton, I'll consider a jersey 2 or 3 years from now when he finally takes the field.
