I see some change as a good thing.

...

Change just for the sake of change isn't always positive. Right now we look to be batting a little under 500 :(

Point taken, but the tide is changing and probably will continue to do so.

I'm not always a proponent of change for the sake of change either, but in this situation, I almost feel like everything but a fresh start might be necessary.

I'm no NFL expert, and I'll be the first to admit that. But as a fan and an armchair coach/GM, I want to see bold moves, even if they're risky. It's almost too much to bear to see the same damned mistakes made over and over again.

I will say that change from a coach who's just playing out the last year of his contract and doesn't give a rat's ass what happens to anybody after he leaves to a coach who lives, eats and breathes the game and is eager to make his mark as a winner in this city is a good thing.

This is maybe the best change that happens this year. A coaching staff who cares about teams future.
