The fact that Dwill is a FA and can sign anywhere? It has been documented that Dwill said that it will come down to Carolina fixing their QB situation whether he stays or not.

Unless new rules are implemented by thursday he would be an RFA.

They CAN'T tell him anything. Organizations aren't allowed to talk to players. Brandon Marshall was in a damn hospital room over the weekend and his coaches weren't even allowed to call him or send a card. There is no way D-Will can know, unless the Panthers told Cam (which they are allowed to do) and it some how got back to D-will but that his highly unlikely (read:did not happen)
