Raleigh and Charlotte.

I have a great time everytime I visit Raleigh. Charlotte is a great place to live.

Music scene - Raleigh

Young Professionals - tie

Bar scene - Raleigh

Sports - tie (CLT - pro teams ...Raleigh NHL and NCSU, UNC and Duke)

Transportation - CLT - Charlotte is a hub for USAir. close to beach and mountains.

food - With Johnson and Wales opening I'd give the edge to CLT but raleigh has some great places too

Bitches - they be crazy errwhere in NC

O yeah now I remember you did tell me about Doug Benson haha that would have been awesome to see.

Although, Blacklight magic was pretty cool

I have to admit it was entertaining, it was certainly unusual.. lol

Oh, yeah, geography is a huge selling point. Within 3 hours of Beach is +10 points, within 6 hours of beach is +1 point. Outside of that is not even an option for me.

Within 3 hours of mountains is +5 points, and being able to at least see mountains on the horizon is +5 points. Maryland is flatter than Calista Flockhart. I went to the generously named, "Sugarloaf Mountain" and thought, "This is a foothill of the mountain, right? Where's the rest of it? Behind this?"

Yes, but did I mention "within 2 hours of Panthers football" is +20 points? To be honest it's sounding pretty neck-and-neck.

In CLT you are actually closer to SC beaches (Charleston )than NC beaches. I can be in Boone in 1.5 hours while 3 from Raleigh.

That's good to know. I've actually heard really good things about Charleston, so that might be a bonus. How long of a drive (4th of july traffic)?
