QB Power Rankings

Can the Steelers win with him on the bench?

What is his overal QB rating compared to the others listed?j

Elite QB's do more than play in games, they are also leaders and role models, he does neither.

TDs vs. INT %.

Come on man, that bling on his finger has everyone cross eyed.

first off, being a role model has nothing to do with being an elite QB...and who are you to say he isn't a leader on that team?

can his team win w/o him? they can get by but they aren't winning any super bowls w/o him and probably aren't making the playoffs w/o him

it's not about stats to me...it's about making plays in key moments of big games...he did it against the cardinals in the super bowl...he's done it numerous times throughout his career in the regular season and in the playoffs...he can carry that offense if they need him too

to me he's an elite QB

You said for me to tell you why he isn't. I told you why I don't think that he is.

You think that he is elite, and I wouldn't have him anywhere near my team if I had my choice.

Big Plays huh...how bout that 25 of 40 in the SB for a whopping 263 yards with 2 TD's and 2 INT's. The Steelers are a fantastic team, and Ben benefits from that, put him on the Colts or the Chargers and they don't win 9 games.

I don't see how you can leave Big Ben off the list as elite qb's with two rings and has the highest winning percentage of any qb ever in their first five years in NFL. He might not win pretty, but he wins.

:hurray:

Let's attribute the outcome of a team sport to one player who only plays on one side of the ball without looking at anything else and determine their greatness on that alone!

I don't care about the number of elite QB's, and Brees or Brady, or Rivers could fall off that list at any time.

What I care about is, can that player be replaced?

Brees IMO is the closest one to being off this list, as I think that he could be swapped out for Matt Ryan or Ben and the Saints would still be productive.

Manning, Brady, Rivers, and Rodgers could all switch teams and not miss a beat, I don't think that anyone else in the NFL could play for their teams and do as well as those 4.

I agree about Brees, benefits from the system he plays in, with his high percentage passes that are 5 yards or less from the LOS that contributes to his completion percentage and yac. I put him in very good after Manning, Brady, and Rogers with Rivers and Big Ben.

now you are disregarding the importance of that one position.

Their team has proven they can win without him. He has literally just gone along for the ride.

Don't get me wrong, he's very good. But he's nowhere near the level of Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and Rivers
