Locker the next Farve?

What I like most about Locker is the way he carries himself. He's a leader. Most of all, he carries himself like a badass. Thats the kind of QB I'd want if I were a guy in the trenches or catching passes.

When I look at Clausen, I see pretty boy, and then arrogant. I bet Locker would kick his ass in a fist fight.

But can he take a hit?

To me, that was one of Fahveruh's strong points. He would get hit hard, come up smiling and even offer to help up the guy who laid into him. That's some old school poo right thar.

I'd like to see if Locker is capable of the same, then I will pay attention to the whole "next Fahveruh" talk.

You need to watch Gruden's QB camp with Locker. The man welcomes contact. Gruden was right when he said he runs like Peyton Hillis.

So in 20 years Favre won 1 Superbowl, a feat matched by Rodgers in 3 years.

Favre's stats his first 2 years as a starter- 37 Tds, 37 Ints 78 passer rating, not exactly stellar.

In all fairness in his third year as a starter he did throw 33 Tds versus 14 Ints and a passer rating of 90. Still Favre will be in the Hall of Fame based on his longevity and consecutive game streak as much as he will be because he was great throughout his career or won multiple super bowls.

Jake Locker is the real deal and will end up being the

best QB of the 2011 class. He is fast, smart,a leader and

tough. He used to be a running back and can get outside the

pocket and make plays. He will be a bargain in this draft.

Favre was definitely an above average QB throughout most of his career. And if we can guarantee that the QB we draft will be above average, then he is definitely worth the number one pick.
