Panthers' Smith has cleared out locker, sui

I just feel like, if we lose Smitty, we lose a chunk of our heart and face as a franchise.

Some of you undervalue him, as other may over value him, but no one can deny his passion for the game.

Everyone nervous about Newton being comfortable making millions, and not having passion for the game SHOULD NOT also be someone supporting Smitty's departure. Smith is passion, bottled into a 5'9'' frame.

I defy anyone to watch this video over again and not feel a little remorse about thinking him in another team's jersey.

NOBODY ON THIS BOARD WANTS HIM TO GO!!!!!

What we're saying is if he does go he needs to go to a contender so he gets his ring! I dont want to lose #89!!

and TRD and (i forget) I know that we'll inevitably get screwed if he does go

SO SO SAD!

I o have faith that its not over. I think he will be putting all that poo back in his locker and suite

two first rounders?!. The Pats will find a way to get for a 5th. Sneaky bastards

yes 2... ours and the one we get for him with a 2nd rounder. Bill knows that Smitty's worth it. I'm saying thats what we "should" get... Not what we will get! If we give him up for anything less than a 1st an 2nd rounder we have failed!

plus the 2nd rounder was ours anyways. Bill have pitty on us!

Yea I'm quoting myself, what of it?

Watching that, what a !@&^%!@%^$#^&%$#^%@ waste these past two year have been. I want that again, I want people to fear Smith, what you guys call an 'attitude problem' I call an attitude gift. Only a guy with his attitude smashes people, taller and bigger than him, into the ground with a stiff arm and a drive like he does.

I'm almost certain NE would give us #33 back to get him... regardless of the popular opinion that we'd only get a 3rd at best...

You see how Randy Moss straightened out a good bit on the character and ego front when you put him on a team of winners? Yeah, Smitty would do that plus some to be able to catch passes from Tom Brady. I also think the Pats would love to have him because he actually fits their type of organization more than ours.

Cam Newton, WR, University of Auburn

While Newton lacks the experience and pro readiness you would want from a #1 WR, his ceiling is sky high. At 6'5" tall and 255 lbs, Newton has the ability to manhandle corners at the line of scrimmage and out jump any safety on those 50/50 balls. His footwork on routes could use work. Mostly saw him run streaks in college. Had an unusually high number of touchdowns per his receptions, must consider the system he played in at Auburn. Consistently showed the ability to go get the ball at it's highest point.

Complete Boom or Bust. Could be next D Jarrett or A Johnson

I thought he was a TE...
