The final case for Cam Newton

I don't even understand why people bring up the cheating on a test, it's so petty. *gasp* a college student cheated on a test who's ever heard of that, this is so terrible clearly this must be some kind of new phenomena.

On top of plenty of regular college students cheating he's a student athlete, I can just about gaurantee the majority of student athletes cheat.

Now the Laptop thing I can see bringing it up if he really did steal it, but the cheating thing is so petty.

I hate how all of you are trying to justify this, bring up cheating "Everyone in college cheats", Laptop "All kids make mistakes, it was stupid it's okay to be stupid when you are young", traffic tickets: "Oh well everyone get's traffic tickets", Pay for play: "all parents want to better their lives", or "Lots of other players do it"

Stop trying to justify his poo.

Yes, other people do it however

1.Those people aren't in consideration for millions of dollars to lead a proffesional football team

2. The people who do, do it typically don't do it again, they learn from the mistakes they made, not make more mistakes or the same mistake again and again.

3. People who do cheat on tests, steal, etc, aren't stupid enough to get caught.

Stop trying to justify this, it makes you look like blind nut huggers.

Good post SMF. People ride you for the quality of your posts, but I can tell you were a Panther fan before Jake Delhomme & John Fox were here. Some of us apparently, were not, and thats all we know. Its the only philosophy and culture we will accept. Cam Newton is the easiest draft selection in our team's history to make and clearly the best option. The "anybody but Cam" folks have flip flopped between 3-4 players for months. Most of em dont really like any of those guys, they just see them as more "tolerable" and "less threatening" than what a Newt will bring. If Newt wasnt coming out this year, nobody would be in here telling us to take a corner, a WR, or a DT #1 overall. Before this season, you would've been laughed at for suggesting such a thing. Hell, Ive been blasted on this board for trying to convince us to take a WR at #14 before in the past, now all the sudden thats logical at #1 overall when the best QB coming out is a black guy.

It should be a rule on here that unless you can prove what you are saying you must state that your post is your own opinion. If you can't provide evidence for what you are posting, be it a link to an article that has proof of what you you are saying or a series of facts that you feel backs up your opinion, then you are nothing more than an old gossip trying to spread a rumour.

All these Cam arguments go down the same route, people passing off there opinion as fact before the discussion descends into an argument with personal insults and KT shouting racist. If people would deal in facts and figures you might find that its easier to see your side of the argument.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion but unless you can provide reasons as to why your opinion is valid then it is nore more right than anybody elses.
