Just think about if the tables were reversed and it's your e-mail put out there? He sent you an e-mail rather than just post it for all to see for a reason, that's all I'm sayin'...;)

Otherwise, you gotta a pretty good thread going here...

got to correct you man. he did not send me an email. the email that I received was one automatically generated by the site letting me know that someone had posted in a thread I subscribed to. said email also contained the text of the post. do you not get these?

No, turned those off. But you reported it as an e-mail, so I reacted to that. If it was not and was posted, then it's all fair game... ;)

thought i had implied it by asking why he deleted the post. still no answer on that. i personally don't care about where a player spent his college years once he is on the panthers. except for interest in future players that is. i.e. ducks and utes seem to be great for us.

The only jersey I own is a Peppers jersey and you better believe I will keep wearing it. I'm not happy with the situation at hand, but that doesn't mean I throw everything he has done for the organization out the window. He gave the fans/panthers 4 probowl seasons, and broke a handfull of franchise records...all while being a model citizen (think about all the other NFL players getting busted for DUI, possession, weapon charges, etc.) And he was never a cancer in the locker room. Ask any player or coach on the team, and he was never a distraction in the locker room or on the field. He played out his contract without complaints, and now wants to move on. He was a great player for us, and produced a lot of great moments on the field. Quit bitching about his personal decisions, and learn to enjoy what Peppers did for the panthers. Why do the fans think they know what is best for him?

Plus, to any other tar heel fans out there. You better not be turning on JP. He has given so much for NC athletics, and you never turn on a tar heel...unless he transfers to Duke.

i like this guy. nice 1st post IMO.

i'll always remember peps time with the panthers fondly. the memories will be a little tainted though.

If/when he goes, I'm going to piss on my peppers jersey, tape it, and put it on youtube.

and IMHO, once the player leaves college, he's a member of his new team. No longer any college allegiance or hate as far as I'm concerned.

Couldn't you just show it after the fact, I'm really not interested in the sausage aspect of it...

maybe just have the view of the stream. definitely don't want to see any of the member. youtube wouldn't allow it anyway

:lol: no sausage. and only showing the stream may take a couple of takes, cropping, etc lol so I'll be drunk if/when I do it.
