I came to a realization today...

because we won't have a QB and will have to wait til next year to find a QB who will also have to be developed for years.

1. Our QBs could play better

2. We could draft a QB with a different pick

3. We could sign a free agent QB

Any of those three things could happen and the offense wouldn't be what it was for many years to come. Just because we don't draft a QB with the first pick don't mean the offense will stay the same.

Right now if we stay at number 1 think the edge goes to Dareus and AJ Green is right behind him. I dont think they will mind getting Jimmy a target the guy can play. We could also use him just in case if Smitty ges traded when ever there is a CBA.

Also for the last time here is a trade scenario for some Cam huggers.

There has been talk about the bengals taking gabbert and most people believe that gabbert is set for Arizona. if its true we could probably trade back with Arizona and take there 5 overall pick there second and maybe a next year third. They take gabbert number 1. Denver still take Dareus and here is how it goes with the Bills they pass up on Newton and they take Von Miller because he is a 3-4 OLB and they feel he can be great and get after does quarterbacks in there division. I dont think the Bengals take Newton I believe they still go AJ or julio. And that leaves Newton on the board at 5 does Carolina take him? I say yes.

I continue to believe our defense wasn't/isn't that bad, certainly not at the line, and there are alot of promising Dls in this draft so I will be very disappointent with a DL at 1.

The Panthers need to be able to score points, or at the very least, keep their defense off the field occasionaly. A QB, one would think, might help.

I like Peterson if we don't go QB, maybe rather take him than QB. Possible shutdown corner with ST as a bonus? That's a big deal.

I LOVE it!!!! Good and potential to actually happen! I like it.. I guess we'll all be back pedaling and jumping on somebody's wagon on the 28th. It's not like WE really have any choice on who we draft! It's nice to debate though, especially since that's all we got right now!
