Clausen stopped listening to coaches

If you stop listening then you quit. It means you dont care about nothing that people say anymore. All im just saying if you listen you may learn something. Something had to go wrong some were and its obivious we say it.Hell the other team saw it thats why they got the ball more then the receivers did.

Not listening isn't the same as quitting. If he stopped listening to the coaches and just did what he felt was best that isn't quitting. He still went out on the field and threw the ball.

td/int is one of the worst metrics to use, but hell, let's go ahead. in their last season of college, Newton was 30/7. Clausen was 28/4. Guess which is better when we're being all stupid and nutty about stats?

Entire career, Bro.

Clausen 60/27

Newton 30/7

And by one pass Clausen had a better attempts per interception stat than Newton. If you gave Clausen that one throw now, it would be a pick six for the other team.

And TD/Int Ratio is one of the top stats. With TD's you win, with INT's you lose. Even you should know that.

i cant blame him for not listening to the coaches they had mentally checked out about half way though the season and the play calling was just fuging awful.....who the hell calls long developing pass plays on a 3rd and short and your QB has been getting murdered for holding the ball to long

Coaches didn't check out....that is why the team played hard the entire season and they all still speak HIGHLY of Fox.

Clausen was just pathetic. Fox has always been "what he is". Playing calling was no worse than when Carolina was the best team in the NFC in 08. The plays they called for Jimmy resulted in open WRs downfield.....teams weren't covering those routes.
