Clausen stopped listening to coaches

It's more the maturity level of the poster. Putting rusty turd after each post is something a child would find amusing then trying to be witty and insult JOAT and he didn't know the difference between won and one?

That's just too awesome to pass up

Actually, I am trolling you and it's working. What is childish, is going around this website and pretending like you are Al Gore thus indicating that your way is always right (trust me, it's not).

There is a difference in what Cam did and what Jimmy did. Listen to me carefully Im not saying what Cam did was right he was wrong. Whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong. At least he tried to score to help his team Win.One thing i dont like is people who quit. The day that Jimmy quit is the day he sealed his faith with the team. Its all starting to come together now with more understanding. I see why the Panthers are really looking at a Quarterback now. There is one thing you dont do and that is stop listening. If you listen you may learn something. And by him doing what he did that means he dont give a flying F*** about his team who thought they may have had a decent quarterback when everybody passed on his Ass. I dont care if we would have went 0-16 he should of listen to what somebody had to say even if they maybe wrong. At least he would have had enough common sense to know that.

He didn't say he quit. Actually it was probably the opposite. The coaches were likely the ones to quit and Jimmy didn't settle for that.

Uh huh sure you are.

Just like a 5th grader, "Nuh Uh, I let you win!"

Hardly, all of his yardage cam from checkdowns. He had 27 interceptions in his career. Every pass over 15 yards was going the other way.

this statement is hilarious on so many levels...

edit:

1) clausen threw four times as many passes as newton

2) in his final year of college play, Clausen threw an outlandishly small number of interceptions - 4.

3) in his entire college career, he still threw fewer ints per attempt than Cam Newton.

4) are you aware of the kind of plays Cam Newton actually ran at Auburn, or did you only watch his highlight reels?

#1 Not Cam's fault, try again

#2 You know how to look at ESPN

# 3, look at TD to INT ratio my foolish friend.

# 4, yes I am an Auburn fan, so hop off my grape fruits.

I agree lol You know your boy did the exact same thing as Jimmy and he said "I know it was wrong" but decided to do it anyway.

Cue the Cam is a gamer so it's okay that he did it

It's not "O.K.", but it was one play. What Jimmy did, he did all year as a Panther.

But remember too... Jimmy was "pro-ready".

If you stop listening then you quit. It means you dont care about nothing that people say anymore. All im just saying if you listen you may learn something. Something had to go wrong some were and its obivious we say it.Hell the other team saw it thats why they got the ball more then the receivers did.

td/int is one of the worst metrics to use, but hell, let's go ahead. in their last season of college, Newton was 30/7. Clausen was 28/4. Guess which is better when we're being all stupid and nutty about stats?

edit: btw I prefer to look at how many passes are thrown per interception because if you throw the ball a ton you should have more interceptions, but that is not the same as throwing them more often per pass attempt... ultimately tho they still are poor ways to look at this kind of thing because you actually need to watch the game tape to see what caused the interceptions.
