This is the same crap that was said about the Ball's. Lavar's big mouth had little impact on his sons professional careers in the end. This is a other "story" invented out of thin air because people put too much stock in the horseshit that Deion spews. -

The consistently good franchises restock linemen with every draft. They have depth. They don’t have to pray that this one guy works out and that he doesn’t get injured. It’s a frequently injured position and without depth, a single injury can tank a season. It’ll be easily exposed. Backup DT can’t play the run? Rut roh raggy. Backup LT doesn’t do well with the speed rush? Sounds like 3rd and a mile all day long. Stronger lines make skill position players look better than they really are. Teams with bad lines with bad depth almost never make deep playoff runs and they don’t win SBs. Using valuable capital in rounds 2-5 and taking linemen who aren’t necessarily positions of need… Wins championships. -

Texans in particular. Drafted Stingley, Pitre, Nico, Green, plenty of guys before getting Stroud. And even last year, getting Dell, Anderson, Scruggs, To'Toto, Hutchinson are all part of the build. Those teams built up good squads. If you look at us in that time period, it's missed pick after missed pick. And those were picks we traded multiple picks to get. With some of those picks even being given to the very Texans that became Nico lol. First things first is building the team. Hope Dan can do that.
