Good does not mean elite. Again, if the Panthers believe that one of these QBs is going to be elite and they're sold on them completely they should take them. Otherwise, let's look elsewhere. You can win with good QB play.

I'd rather we build the offense around solid quarterback play, get the system in place and working. Don't reach for a guy with awesome measurables if you aren't sure he's the one, that's all. And by the way, nobody is saying to go into the season with the depth chart being Moore -> Clausen -> Pike unless that was caused by winning of competitions in camp. The point is to bring in someone else who has some good level of experience, knows the game, and can push the rest to improve in competition. Who that is, well, you named a few. None of them are perfect, because if they were, they wouldn't be in consideration. I personally want Hasselbeck, but if he wants to "go to a winner" we may be out.

There will be other chances to pick up a quarterback you like... so don't force yourself into taking one you aren't sure of just because we need a quarterback. Thats all I'm saying.

Beason clearly tried to cover up that day. It is why he deleted his intital tweet and put up the random Clausen/Moore endorsement. It was what it was.

i think if this was a normal offseason i would think clausen or newton could come in and play well but with out the ability to work with coaches i really think we need a vet

I agree. The only vets we should consider are Palmer,Hasselback, and McNabb. Those 3 have proven they are capable, but every other Fa that's available have already proven they arent. If we cant get one of those 3 we might as well go in with Moore unless the coaches see Clausen or possible rookie is ready. Moore gives us a better chance than Volek or Bulger plus he comfortable with the team already.

No, I think Moore/Clausen/Pike sends Smitty packing. He doesn't hate Moore but that is about it. Moore is a good #2 if back to full health

I think several players (the elite) clearly hinting that Carolina needs to go in a direction away from Clausen is a solid arguement. But that is just me....it isn't just one player hinting at it. Only thing left is for people to do is flat out say he is garbage.
