I've played substantially on both xbox live and PSN and I can with confidence that they gaming experience isn't much different. I do prefer Live for their management of friends, joining games, voice chat across games, etc.j

The one thing I have noticed is the level of competition on Live and PSN is WAY different. I was average at MW2 on Live and when I switched to PSN after my xbox died I was a beast on PSN.

i used to be on live, but at that time I played A TON and the cost was miniscule considering the hours of entertainment that I got out of it. Once I graduated and cut my console time in general by a large amount I saw no reason to pay for the service.

and I experienced lag on Halo 2 and 3 back then the same way I do now on Black Ops. only occasionally, and if I'm playing with someone that has horrible connectivity.

I love how the ps3 players keep going back to the red ring of death. It was an issue that was fixed before or shortly after the ps3 came out. Not to mention that Microsoft fixed all of them for free.

I have to admit though, I did laugh at a few of the red ring pics that were posted. Esp the achievement one. lol

I am an xbox player and have never even played a ps3 so I cant say witch is better. I just support what I have. lol

I am on Xbox Live and this very well could have happened to them too...rather you pay for it or not. Especially since Microsoft is targeted more than any other company out there.

Lag is not due to the service you use, it's your pooty Internet connection and/or the people you play with's Internet.

I bought Xbox because all of my friends have those and they are the ones I want to game with.

This sucks for PSN users and Sony all together. This black eye will stick around for a long time.
