Depends on how she rules.

Not really. She rules and the NFL files immediately the lockout stays in effect. You can't undo player movement so there is no way the courts will allow that to happen.

What if the judge rules, she has FA, then the appellate court rules in favor of the owners? You can't get picks you traded for players back or make them go back to former teams.

Fans need to get used to the idea of no free agency for awhile.

I believe you are right. I remember it being 3x through for the death penalty at one time.

First of all there is no guarantee that she will end the lockout. There is little reason to believe the players are being damaged permanently. Second if the judge stays the ruling pending an appeal, then everything stays the way it is now until the ruling is finalized.

If she talks to the judge doing the mediation and he says that the players are the ones dragging their feet not wanting to negotiate a deal, it could lend support for the notion that they are not being damaged since they are in essense doing it to themselves and seem in no hurry to settle this.

The suit against the NFL is against the NFL draft, against FA as its set up now and basically everything that was implemented with FA. Tags, the draft and so forth would disapear if she fully ruled on what Brady et was trying to do.

If she rules against having the draft three days before it's set to happen, she'd probably better go into hiding shortly thereafter. Crazed football fans from all over the country would be looking for her head.

If the players get what they want, there will be no draft just direct signing to the highest bidder out of college. No Tags at all, no salary cap etc.

What you will see is the ruining of football period. You will have 4 teams or so every year competing for the superbowl. You will also see several small market teams like the Jags, Bills etc fold.

If fans want to still have quality football and every team (esp their own) have a chance to compete, they better hope the players don't win. ESPECIALLY Panthers fans because I can guarantee you Richardson wont' fight Snider, Kraft and Jones for players

We are ok this year as the Draft is in the CBA. If she rules for the players and they win there will be no more drafts starting 2012
