Trade Smith? Well, I do not want to either, but the best teams know when to let go of veteran players. Speed WRs do not last much past 32 years of age. He has twice assaulted teammates, and he showed signs of mortality las season, dropping more passes than any other WR and the most in his career. He still found time to haze his own QB in public.

He wants a shot at a title before his curtain call, and if we are rebuilding, you get something for him. This is not being disloyal or unappreciative; it is being smart and respectful to him.

If we traded Smith I would hope it would only be for a late first round pick or early second round pick. But i would give him another year or so to give us all he's got before we trade him.

This is probably one of the best Steve Smith highlight reels I have seen thus far. Very nice job. That being said, every time I watch a Smith video I get a little tingly on the inside.
