Losing Weight without losing muscle (the little I have)

Cardio and less fat/caloric intake is the best route. If you decide to run, buy good shoes that are designed for you feet. Your ankles and knees will thank you later. I bought an elliptical cross trainer and that has to be one of the best work outs. Other things you can do: take the stairs instead of the elevator, park as far away from the store as possible, go for a 30-60 minute walk after dinner, take a walk during lunch, buy less processed food, get a good nights sleep, replace sodas with water, drink lots of water, and remember that fitness is a journey, not a destination.

That's been my main problem. Sometimes its easy to forget that being healthy is a lifestyle change not a quick fix

I like to mix cardio and weight training.

I hate both, but I don't want to be a fatass, and I like having muscles too.

Your plan sounds fine, but really it is about commiting to some form of moderate to vigorous exercise every day.

Again, it sucks, but the alternative is looking like every other piece of poo and I'm too vain and sexy for that.
