My stand is we don't need to draft a QB this year, because I believe this year's QB class is extremely weak. There are other options. I say keep Moore, Clausen, and bring in a vet. We could see if Clausen is truly a bust. If Clausen plays well, we know we are set. If he plays bad, we readdress QB needs in next year's draft, which will probably be better...and we very well could be in contention for Luck. Not saying I want to throw away next season, but you have to look at the big picture and not settle for the smartest kid in the dumb class

Word. I don't want us to have a losing season to get Luck. I just prefer we get him when it fall on to us, not hoping we keep losing. Looking at our hard schedule, I don't think we will win a lot of games. I hope we do though.

Sure I can prove I am right by you only showing that so far 3-4 people had him in their top 10 when at least 11 didn't have him in their top ten, I would say that's very few. Would you not?

Now I could go find everyone that said he wasn't going to be top 10 but what's the point of that? I may have exaggerated but this dude was trying to draw a comparison of Clausen to someone who was considered by 99% of people that matter as the #1 pick.

My point was to disprove the comparison. I may have exaggerated but the point stands.

This is what we are asking you. Panthro pulled up 3-4 site where jimmy was rated a top ten pick. You said you can pull up 11 that didn't. You haven't done what you say you could do even when ask. You have either came up with a lame excuse for not doing it or tried to change the disagreement all together.

This has nothing to do with when they were picked it is about what they were rated before the draft. You know this so please come up with more then where jimmy was picked to prove you're point. (like a site or a draft expert that had jimmy rated lower then a top ten pick) Or just admit you were wrong.

      I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.

      Did I miss something?  The people we have developing players now are not the ones we've had in the past so I don't know what the heck people are talking about when they say we are not good at developing players right now.  We only have one year to go on.  Canales likes young players or players who are on an upward trajectory, especially in FA this year.  Past QB's and what he's done with Bryce are good examples. Tershawn Wharton - 26 Tre'von Moehrig - 25 Pat Jones II - 26 Bobby Brown III - 24 Michael Jackson - 28 Jaycee Horn - 25 Tommy Tremble - 24 We missed on Milton Williams but he's 26. Everyone else we picked up are on 1 year deals.  The Panthers new front office and Canales absolutely scream developmental team. Pick 8 (stay) Tier 1 Elite - Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham Tier 2 Elite - Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Will Johnson Trade down: There are quite a few really good players that fit us at Edge, DT, S and WR mid to late 1st and high 2nd.  Some combos that would be possible that I really like.  Imagine getting 2 of these guys by trading down. Stark, Pierce Jr, Golden, Scourton, Grant, Emmanwori, Ezeiruaku, Umanmielen, Deone Walker, Harmon and this is just off the top of my head.
