Even thought I think Panthro is a 3rd world Dictator when it comes to this MB(you know what I'm talking about). He makes some very good points. TRD "really dude" is it that hard to admit when your are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wrong??? Do you talk in the thrid person alot around your friends???

Anyway back too the topic I can't agree with anybody who feels it's a good idea too plan on getting Luck next year. When he chose to stay in school he became a after thought in my book. Their is no way in hell Ron R. is starting his HC life with a #1 pick worthy season if he can help it.

Better yet how many times has a team had back to back #1 picks in any sport?

I still don't understand how you get it wrong almost every single time. Most of the time you have a 50% chance and at worst you have a 33.3% chance of getting it right but you miss at an astounding 94% rate if I had to guess. I can't even get to the content of your post but by the way you write it I'm sure there is nothing of substance in there anyway.

Luck groupies tend to do that. They project a lot onto him. Let them tell it, hes closer to Peyton than Eli.

Now I have no problem thinking Luck will be a great QB (I believe he will be). But I don't agree with planning or hoping you're bad enough too draft him. I can't take another suck season with no hope.

Correct my Grammer all you want. Everybody is starting to see how much of a delusional person you really are. People put up fact and you still can't admit you're WRONG MOST OF THE TIME. You make lame statements and stuff that is mostly just your opinoin and think everybody should see it as LAW and when somebody hits you with the fact. That yes the great TRD is wrong you correct their grammer or dismiss their opinion as like it doesn't matter.:hand::hand:

I only really correct your grammar because it is God awful.

He named 3 people that had Clausen in the top 10, how did that prove me wrong?

To be fair, everyone dismisses your opinion because it really doesn't matter.

He put a few sites up to show his point but you haven't shown any that can prove him wrong. While still not admitting that you could be wrong.

That's you homie and more and more people are seeing it.

Luck stayed in school after talking to family and friends. He said Peyton Manning was instrumental in the decision. After hearing that Manning was very happy he stayed for his senior year at Tennessee and getting the advice from him that the money will be there next year as well but the college experiences won't, he decided to stay.

It had nothing to do with the NFL, the Panthers or any of the crap circulating here. He is 21 years old and wants to play another year to hopefully win a conference and a national championship. That is all there is to it.

He was passed on 47 times. Multiple times by teams that needed QBs. Multiple times by his own coach.

And The Golden Calf of Bristol was picked 25-26 in the 1st round doesn't mean he was rated as the 25-26 best player in the draft. You were in disagreement on how the player were rated before the draft not when they were actually picked.:D:D

Well actually if you look at it that way, even less people had him in the top 10.

Choose your stance already.

seems there is a rhetoric train that can't be stopped amongst people who are still mad (deep inside) that Luck didn't declare. They have taken a negative stance on the issue because they knew Luck was out of their grasp.

It isn't the "Luck fans" who are mad (as evidenced by so many Luck threads), it's those who are Anti-Luck who are the most hurt by his decision.

after all.. when you break up with a smoking hot girlfriend.. it's always a mutual decision or you did the breaking up, amIright?

Haven't read the entire thread, so apologies if it's been brought up... but you guys are assuming we actually have a season next year. I know we're into federal mediation, but even that is not a guarantee things will go according to plan.

I would have no issue if we drafted Luck if one of two things happen:

1. We play the season adn he falls to us/trade up to snag him in next year's draft.

2. We're still friggin locked out and we get the overall #1 again next year.

So, most likely, he'll never be a Panther, and that's fine. Not sure I want any of the QBs in this class, but thankfully, that's not a decision I have to make. Here's to hoping Rivera makes the right choice for our team, regardless of our personal feelings about it.
