To the muttonheads...

My stand is we don't need to draft a QB this year, because I believe this year's QB class is extremely weak. There are other options. I say keep Moore, Clausen, and bring in a vet. We could see if Clausen is truly a bust. If Clausen plays well, we know we are set. If he plays bad, we readdress QB needs in next year's draft, which will probably be better...and we very well could be in contention for Luck. Not saying I want to throw away next season, but you have to look at the big picture and not settle for the smartest kid in the dumb class

Agreed, we could not draft a single player or sign a single free agent and still not be last place next year. Just being healthy and the new coaching change is worth 4-5 more wins than we had last season. Luck needs to be forgotten. He is a doucher anyway.

hoping for the opportunity to draft Andrew Luck next year. Thanks for wishing the Panthers would have the worst record in the NFL for a second straight season.

Go find another team to cheer for.... You won't be missed.

I am one of those muttonheads, but there is a fallacy in your argument. You wrongly assume that Andrew Luck will be the number one pick next year, when history has shown that is categorically not the case. In almost every instance in the last decade, when a surefire number 1 draft pick junior has opted to return for his senior year, his stock has plummeted the following year. There is no way the Andrew Luck hype train has as much steam as it did this year.

So yes, I want us to have the opportunity to draft Andrew Luck... with the 18the pick in the draft.

So if he pulls a Locker you'd still want to draft him? That's even more ridiculous

    • So what you are saying is--these clowns stole our idea!!!  It makes sense.  If I am the Giants, I might trade with Cleveland to assure that I get Hunter---If Cleveland is interested in Carter or Hunter, they get Carter and a fourth rounder.  Hunter is a much better fit in NY. It was interesting that the Browns were dining Carter when Stefanski was away watching Dart.  Cleveland has to add a QB of some sort, and I have not heard the Cousins rumor much lately.  Trading with the Giants would give the Browns more draft capital to move back up for Dart if they think he will not be there at 33. Seriously, I need to watch more of stuff like this.  I have not been doing much more than mocking and reading a few blogs by fans of teams piking before us.
    • I'm rooting for him. The odds are against him but I love an underdog story.
    • Because on April 25th, he's a millionaire. Whether it's at #8, #18, or #28...he's a first rounder. I will never hate a man for getting his money.
