Gruden vs King

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

I pretty much have been factually accurate when I defend him. I don't think I have ever accused you of racism or hate (other than the playful Haters monicker).

Bias maybe but that has to do with your opinion, your opinion is that you don't think any QB is worthy of the #1 pick. You defend that opinion. I think Cam is, I defend that opinion.

So what exactly should I take back?? That I have an opinion that is based off fact and study?? Why because you said so and you post a lot on a message board?

Newsflash Scot: A lot of people agree with me. Many of whom may select him very high in the draft April 28th. How is that for a fact?

My next challenge find a post by me accusing you of racism or just hate on Cam Newton. Bias maybe, but we all have biases. They are called opinions.

"Bias" doesn't carry the same connotation as "opinion". Look it up and you'll see.

And if you want respect for your opinion, try doing it without throwing out personal attacks like the ones shown before. That doesn't do anything to help with the perception of your maturity. Maybe it frustrates you when people don't agree. It shouldn't. Who cares whether loads of people agree with you or not if you feel comfortable in what you believe?

(don't take too much comfort when a lot of people agree with you either; you could still be wrong)

The problem you run into is you can start off a debate speaking perfectly reasonably, but as it goes on you start to resort to accusations of bias and such (look back in this very thread and you'll see them). It makes you sound like you're letting your emotions get the better of you. That's why Mav said what he did to you earlier.

Not good for a poker player.

Professional Gambler? Is there anyone that gamble's amateurishly?

Sure. Lot's of people do it to supplement an income. Few are able to do it as their sole income which is basically what I do. I do have other pots on the fire but the majority of my income comes from poker (the vast majority) and sports betting.

Ah... so nothing positive. Case proven.

Thanks for the links.

Actually, it was (mine, that is) :D

And I'd wager it'd be a lot easier to find positive things I've said about Newton than it would any admission on your part that he might not be the best thing since sliced bread.

Like I said, you guys have done more damage to yourselves in this thread than I could have ever done (had I been trying)

Again point me to my insults??? Can't find them

You are o-3 so far on your own accusations of me. You worry about insults, meanwhile you call people "sport" which is an insult in its own right... so show me where I looked foolish again.

Heck I even said that this thread wasn't designed to undermine Gruden so I was defending you at one point.

Hotdamn!! You are on fire tonight!! Age blasts! True "hero" ability. You aren't really close on my age.

Take what you know about me:

I am a licensed NC Real Estate Broker

Professional Gambler

Just refinanced my house

Had a job at Michael Jordan Nissan several years ago.

Yet you still think I am no older than 22. And then you wonder why no one takes you seriously? You sound like a fugging idiot that is why.

Not tying to be an ass, but that makes you sound just about 21. No that it matters. That still puts you above the median here.

Back on track...

Gruden is a great TV commentator. But his record as a HC is almost as good as John Fox's. Gruden took a Superbowl winning team into the gutter in record time. He never developed a young QB.

I hope he sticks to MNF, I do enjoy listening to him. But I would never want him as a HC for the Panthers.

You know a 21 year old person with a real estate license, worked at a car dealership, AND has bought a house and lived in it long enough to refinance it. And that is just from what TRD KNOWS about me.

Football is an insult? Basketball too?

Yeah, you can work at a car dealership in high school. Real estate is pretty easy to get into if you pass a test and do 2000 hours of some bullshit apprenticeship, and you can get a house with 3.5% down which isn't that much, especially where you are.

Also, I don't know if any of what you say is true. It's not hard to lie on the internet, watch I'll do it right now:

Cam Newton is a good QB.

See, that is false but it appears to be true because I said it.
