Great thread, and great debate. We can all picture the scenario now pretty well in our imagination (save for the OP who was actually there).

Now, take all the opinions of helping our fellow "man", and giving of yourself, and change it from a girl to a guy - same situation.

I am by no means saying they should get in a strangers car or me as the stranger should be offering them a ride either!

I'm just saying, if people took a second out of their day to offer assistance to their fellow man then maybe this planet wouldn't be such a complete poo hole to live on anymore!

I sort of disagree Boo...what if she just had an accident and she was trying to get a hold of her parents/significant other? What if she was left stranded by her boyfriend after a big fight? there's many scenarios and ya, maybe most of them would leave you looking like a random creepy person, but there are some that would leave you looking like a thoughtful person too!

My first thought was that she found out something horrible over the phone. Or maybe that's just my mom that does that to me. I found out my aunt had died while in the electronics section of walmart. Two weeks ago, I was at Denny's when she told me my uncle had died.
