Is there a QB who is any good that wears 9? I'd like for him to pick a number he can "make famous" so to speak. The way we associate 7 with Vick, 18 with Manning, 12 with Brady, etc.

If he goes to the Panthers he will wear #15, #5 or #9. Historically the team tries to have new QBs get numbers previous QBs had, i.e. Testaverde getting 16. Newton wore 15 at UF, and could get it if Wallace Wright isn't retained.

I say maybe 5 and he could get 10 from Armanti Edwards and maybe 15 from wallace wright just like loyalpanthersfan said.....
