That battle scene was fuging incredible. The last half hour was one of the most well made half hours in tv history.

Agree completely.  The episode was fantastic.  The battle scene was well done, and extremely brutal.  Which is the way a battle of that type should be.  Littlefinger's army arriving was predictable, but well done.

And no one on this show has gotten what he deserved more than Bolton.

Climaxed when the dragons got together and went across sky, I almost enjoyed that more than the big battle.  The first part of the big battle was awesome.  I loved that Jon wasn't immediately William Wallace.  He was kind of mesmorized for a second with the blood all around before he got his bearing.   It really sucks they lost so many people though.   Like others on the web have said, couldnt' Sansa have been like "can we wait like a day or two....." for reenforcements but oh well.    I didn't expect Theon to show up that fast and how about those sparks between Dany and Asha?   Seems like this show is becoming woman power at this point lol.

Ohhhhhhh my what an episode. The sheer chaos of the battle was brilliant. Awesome camera work, awesome choreography, great tempo, just great all around.

Ramsay went out as I wanted him to, but having Jon just bludgeon him to death would have been equally satisfying. Loved the rage, and the expression on his men's faces as he just calmly walked with the shield leading up to it. Jon is certified legendary after all of this, if he wasn't already.

Interested to see what happens next week. Some predictions on my part.

- Dany helps Asha and Theon destroy their uncle's fleet. Don't know why all the talk of how many ships you'd need. Dragons will do just fine.
- Winterfell is gonna need a lot to solidify it's place in the north. Jon can't take it, as he's not a Stark. I'm thinking Sansa takes it and legitimizes Jon, then hands it to him. An agreement is reached with Littlefinger as payment for the Vale's help, but I'm not sure what (hopefully not Sansa). I think a lot of the Wildlings stay in Winterfell to help Jon, while the others take up camp in the North near Winterfell.
- Hopefully we get some movement from Bran.
- Would like to see where Arya is heading currently. If it is Winterfell, well she's right on time.
- The Hound and his place within the Brotherhood. What is the deal there and will they end up closer to Winterfell?
- Pod and Brienne. Hopefully they end up back at Winterfell.
- Hopefully we figure out what's happening in King's Landing. Need a conclusion there, as that has been a lingering focus for what, a season and a half at this point?
- Wanting the final scene to either be Dany heading to Westeros after helping take the Iron Isles or something involving Bran.

Obviously, I doubt ALL of this happens. However, any combination of the above would be nice.

Just watched it and I echo what many people have already said.  Fantastic work on the battle.  Really liked everything about the way the did it.  And Ramsay Bolton's ending was perfect.  I'm kind of glad Jon didn't beat him to death because I don't think that's Jon's nature no matter how much he may have wanted to do it.  Being eaten alive by his own dog's kind of washes Jon's and Sansa's hands but gives him the ending he deserved.

Yeah, excellent episode, basically what everyone has been wanting all season.

Curious as to why they had the Mereen stuff in this episode when they could have done that in the last episode and had two great episodes instead of one incredible episode... maybe I answered my own question...

The battle was excellent, incredible filming...  shame that Rickon didn't figure out how to dodge and weave a bit...

Seriously surpised that Davos didn't walk over and cut Melisandre's head off... maybe that's coming.

The end for Ramsay was very fitting and the fact that Sansa got to oversee it was perfect.

More thoughts later I'm sure, I'll probably re-watch today while I'm working.
