This episode was weird...  some really good stuff and some really boring stuff...

The good stuff...  damn that scene with Cersei and the mountain vs the Faith Militant was brilliant, we've been waiting for that one all season... I just wish there'd been a little more to it.  The Hound being the Hound, chopping people up and then having a grand old time with Berric Dondarion of all people... that was great.

The boring...  more of that play... good lord, why?  Unless we're gonna see that one girls tits again, boo.   Tyrion, Grey worm and Missandei with jokes?  Seriously?  Cut that poo out.

Plot stuff:  wtf are they doing with Arya?  That whole stint in Braavos seems, idk... almost a waste of time now?  Idk, it's weird where they went with that.  I was dissapointed that none of those crazy theories we talked about last week were true... and now what?  She just goes back to Westeros?  Must be nice healing those wounds to her abdomen so fast that she can run around and fight like that... neato.

Riverrun and the Blackfish... at least they only spent parts of 2 episodes on it, but why all of that if they're just going to take the castle and kill Blackfish off and he's not even going to get to help Sansa? Hey, at least we got to see Bronn some more and Pod too.

Finally Daenerys just shows up and is like "hey, what's up my peeps... what's happening?"

Please let there be some action, people getting killed, wars, army's etc, next week...

I'm seeing rumors/theories of Dany turning villain pop up today (complete with her wearing black last night), that could be interesting. Even though I've never really understood her as a pure protagonist outside of her bit about freeing slaves.

And the rumor Cersei asked Qyburn about? Hmmmm...burn them all coming into play? Bran did have a vision of King's Landing burning.

I did like Berric back which still gives hope for LSH.

Bastardbowl will obviously take up a great bit of ep 9, but run times are going to increase.

Are they going to give us a season 8, bc a lot seems hard to wrap up in 1 season

I liked last night's episode...

The Jaime/Brienne scenes were great. You want to hate Jaime for loving Cersei, but you want to love him for being the guy that Brienne knows.

The Hound... I hope he joins the Brotherhood... at least temporarily.

I liked the Arya stuff, but it annoyed me that it was indeed her that was injured, yet she went all parkour to get away from the Waif.

The Cersei stuff, well, I think I know where that is going based on leaks.

Next week will probably be one of, if not, the best episodes ever.

If you want to know the leaked info for the last two episodes, here you go... BEWARE THIS IS MAJOR SPOILER poo!:

BE WARNED!

Last chance to go back!

Battle of the Bastards - happens this coming week (as the episode is titled.) Jon shows up at Winterfell with his host (Wildlings, Mormonts, a few small houses, and Wun Wun.) Ramsay pulls Rickon out and tells him to "run... or don't run..." and Rickon takes off across the field to Jon. Ramsay starts loosing arrows in his direction and connects just as Rickon reaches Jon. Jon tears off towards Ramsay's forces, and Davos orders his folks to follow him. Ramsay's cavalry takes off too, and Ramsay orders his archers to start loosing arrows, even though it will take out both Jon's folks and his own. The impact of the cavalries and the rain of arrows creates a wall of the dead, blocking the immediate way into Winterfell. There's lots of fighting, Tormund fights SmallJohn Umber and kills him. Ramsay's pikemen arrive and form up a shield wall, encircling Jon's forces, and begin pushing them in tighter and tighter. Wun Wun's trying to clear a path in the body wall. Just as it looks like Jon's crew is done for, a horn is sounded, and in the distance you see the Vale forces arrive with Littlefinger. They begin enveloping the pikemen and free Jon's crew to run towards Winterfell. Wun Wun breaks down the door (Ramsay has retreated) and Jon's crew follows him in. Wun Wun takes an arrow to the eye and dies. Jon sees Ramsay fired the shot. He takes off running, with a shield to deflect arrows, at Ramsay. He gets to him and beats him to a pulp, but Sansa stops him short of killing him. Winterfell is retaken, with Jon and Sansa in place (not sure if Rickon survives, but I doubt it,) and Ramsay is taken prisoner.

As seen in the preview, Jon tells Mel beforehand that if he dies not to bring him back. This makes me wonder if they will rez Rickon, but I haven't read anything about that.

Jon becomes King of the North.

I think Davos visits the site, at some point, in which Shireen was burned. I think he even finds the carving he made for her. Not sure about the legitimacy of this leak though.

Ramsay is eventually deemed meat for his own hounds, or Ghost, a fate far too kind for him IMHO. But, at least he gets it.

Not a lot has leaked from Episode 10, but here are the other things that I have read about this season that will likely happen there:

Arya turns up at the Twins and serves Frey pie with the help of ol' Hot Pie. Maybe the Brotherhood is also involved? I think she somehow gets him to poison the pies being served, and they basically kill a poo ton of Freys in the process, and she might even get some Needle work in.

The thing Cersei was referencing this week with Qyburn was that there is a huge stash of wildfire underneath the Red Keep or the Sept of Baelor (I can't remember right now.) Anyway, there is a gathering there, not sure if for her and Loras' trial or not, but she somehow ignites the wildfire, killing lots of people and pretty much destroying King's Landing.

Tommen, either during the fire or after the fallout from it, jumps to his death from a window. Some speculate it is to escape the fire, meaning Cersei pretty much killed her last child, or some say it is because he blames himself for his mother's actions and just can't live with them (also, thought is that Margaery dies in the explosion.) Either way, this brings a whole new meaning to King's Landing, lol.

I've read that the Mountain tosses the High Sparrow from the walls to his death. Not sure if legit.

We've still got the final sequence of the Tower of Joy scene to come. Littlefinger supposedly also somehow confirms R+L=J to legitimize Jon. I'm not sure if true, nor how it will play out. It'd be hella interesting if he has been involved in these plots since way back then.

I'm not sure about Bran, Benjen, and Meera. Nor the Hound. Not sure if we see much more of any of them unless we get Bran's crew for the ToJ flashback which I assume we will. Not sure if we get much more from any of those this season.

No word on Sam and Gilly.

Not much on Dany either, which is interesting. Nor the Greyjoys. I'm guessing we get another battle, at sea, in E10, with dragons and lots of special effects. There is still a scene from the trailer we haven't seen where it looks like a huge impact/explosion outside the quarters Dany and crew are in (the window blows inwards.)

Anyway, there you go. Not sure how much is accurate, but there it is.

Season 7 will be 7 episodes

Season 8 will be 6 episodes

Theoretically, of course... with this somewhat confirming:

I hope that we can get them both in one year's time, but I doubt it.

Well... That sucked. I expected more action.

Well next week is suppose to be the most expensive episode and best battle of the series so I didn't expect that much from this one.

a little disappointed in the Arya story line and how it played out

I still liked it.  Things took twists that I didn't expect.  What is Cercei going to do now that she can't have a trial by combat?  Who knew Arya's story line would wind up that way?  Did anyone expect Edmure to just give up the castle?  Who thought the masters were going to attack the city?

Actually, I thought it was a really good episode.  Sorry for those of you who's spoiler theories didn't pan out  :)

Well I think Cercei will have to stick with her "I choose violence" plan of action regardless....

and I would wager ultimately the prophecy about her children will hold true in some regards to her choice

My thoughts are Jamie is going to let the men march north and let them help Jon/Sansa (but really let them help Brienne of Tarth, from his perspective)

I thought about that too, and while that is within the realm of possibility, I seriously doubt it, especially given his speech last night about getting back to Cersei.

Maybe once whatever Cersei has up her sleeve (see Bronn's spoilers) plays out and the white walker threat gets serious enough for the southerners to notice, Jaime may just yet do such a thing.

Well Jamie said getting back to Cersei is what matters....

in Jamie's own words he said the men could leave as all he needed was to take the castle in the quest to get back to Cersei.  Which he has now done.

I think there is enough going on with Brienne and Jamie that something plays

Jamie is going to be in an odd position soon on his way back to KL if those spoilers are true (I really think they are).   He'll have to make a choice on where to take that Lannister army.  I don't think he's involved in the Ramsay fight.   When Dany shows up though, that'll probably be it.  I think the Lanister family is getting wiped out after Dany lands.  Not sure if Jamie makes it out alive.   I feel Jon and Dany will make a pact and fight the walkers off leaving each to rule their halves.     Right after everything is OK, a giant meteor falls down and kills almost everyone alive.  The end.

My end game is that Jon finds out he is origin through Bran and then makes deal with Dany and they take down the White Walkers....

then something happens at the end where Jon and Dany aren't left to rule and the "game" for the throne is setup to start all over.  No way does it end with a "happy" ending
