yeah some of the effects are meh...

I read somewhere that their budget was $45M this season... I don't know that I have seen that much in the effects department... cgi must be expensive as hell...

True enough... but it makes me wonder how much they actually spent on the cgi backdrops of The Wall, Winterfell, Kings Landing, etc... maybe we'll have 3 other pleasant cgi surprises soon...
