I do wonder if that is an omen of sorts?  That the owners of the dead Direwolves die early as their wolves did, with only Arya and Jon surviving the series?

Thought of that as well, but not sure what to make of it.

I wonder how fast Euron can build 1000 ships?

I do think this season they have allowed more time to pass between episodes than prior seasons....and maybe that is planned b/c they are going to have to explain things like that?  I mean just for all the armies that eventually will have to move as it plays out they have to fast forward.

Well there's just so much lumber on the Iron Islands, clearly. That's why they're called the Iron Islands. Because of the trees.

I literally turned to my buddy and said, "Well, I hope they're replanting what they cut down because I have not seen one tree on that island yet."

Pretty sure Euron's fleet will meet Theon/Yara/Dany at the end of the season and get wrecked.

Dany can then tack "Melter of Ironborn" on to her growing list of titles.

Bran and Brandon the Builder end up being the same person. The Night King wants Bran dead, and Bran goes back again to stop the Children from creating the Others, in turn letting the First Men continue killing all the trees and the whole show has been symbolic of climate change. Al Gore approves.

I understand that it is weird to have everyone arriving at their destination so fast but its necessary. They're doing it to move the plot along faster. If they allowed for actual travel time we would have 20 seasons of the show.
