Arya is by far my favorite character in the books and the show.

i like Arya too, and I hope she gets to continue her storyline that's in the books. but I think my favorite character is Jon or Tyrion.. in the books, it's Jaime.

Why? Just wondering.

She doesn't fall into the expected mold of other high born girls. She's a tough, takes no poo type of girl. Sneaky and calculating but also a hot head. Now that her storyline has taken her through the training of the Many Face God I can't wait to see what she does on screen. She's not vapid like her  sister.  I dig the underdog and she is about to kick a lot of ass.

Not her boobz, but still, yay ... boobs!

But yeah, Khaleesi be all like ... I run dis.

Overall a pretty tame episode. My favorite part was when I said out loud ... SANSA GETS TO SEE JON AGAIN!

She said it was all her in an interview with entertainment weekly.

But before any assumptions are made about Clarke’s participation in the scene, there’s something the actress wants everybody to know. “I’d like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3,” she says. “That was awhile ago. It’s now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I’m just feeling genuinely happy I said ‘Yes.’ That ain’t no body double!”

I think they've decided this season that 2 big things per episode will happen...

Good episode, nice to see Sansa and Jon reunited...

I saw the Khaleesi burn down the hut thing coming from a mile away even tho Martin has said that the Targaryens aren't "immune" from fire... guess the show doesn't care about that...  I thought it was pretty cool.

I'm itching to see some fighting tho... I hope Jon goes south soon.  Also ready for more Bran revelations...

This was probably the most dialogue driven episode this season so far... That isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I loved the Brienne/Tormund stuff... The table scene had me laughing out loud.

Glad Sansa and Jon have got back together. I'm curious about Jon's intentions, if it wasn't originally to head south and get some sort of redemption for the Starks. It seemed like Sansa had to do a lot of convincing.

I'm wondering if they are trying to parallel Jon's journey and the High Sparrow's? That story he gave about how he was living the life of a wealthy person and decided to walk away from it is kind of the opposite Jon's journey. Jon always did what he thought was right, no matter how hard it was, and he died for it. The High Sparrow lusted after the things that he ultimately saw as wrong, and his old self died for him to walk away from it. I really liked the High Sparrow's monologue, although I still disagree with his piety and how he apparently believes everyone should be poor humbled beggars.

The way that Mel talked about Jon being Azor Ahai (or, if you think they are separate people, the Prince that was Promised) kind of made me think she still doesn't 100% believe it. It may very well end up that Jon isn't the savior of humanity that most assume he now is.

I liked the Dany stuff, but it was kind of convenient for Jorah and Daario to be lurking where she ended up being. I saw the ending coming and don't know if I am annoyed at the whole "immune to fire" thing.

How bad do you feel for Theon and Loras? Theon had it coming, but, I kept thinking to myself during Loras' scene that rodeo was watching it pissed off because of how much they have trashed Loras' character and are now breaking him even further. I do feel for Theon, though. I mean, how much suffering is enough? I think his days are numbered anyway.

Overall, a down episode from an action standpoint... But still better than anything else on TV.
