Other than that I agree, you make your quick read step forward then continue to do your job based on those reads.

The premise that being in a zone coverage will prevent you from stopping the run is incorrect, which is something NCblahblah couldn't comprehend, which isn't shocking.

I made it pretty clear I felt the zone makes it easier for Dwill and Stew which it does. That's why when team s play us the stack the box and that doesnt even work the half the time. Some of yall are so worried about trying to sound like you know everything that you turn a simple concept into rocket science. Its this simple. Defense closer to the line makes it easier to stop the run vs. defense further away. Is that hard to comprehend?:nonod: If that was the case a defense would stay in one formation but they dont because some are better to stop the pass and others stop the run.,sheesh. Holy poo that is awesome. I didn't think you could sound dumber but you actually did.

Since when does stacking the box mean you can't run a zone defense? Since when CAN'T you run a zone after being aligned close to the LOS? Defensive "formations" are not chosen to stop a certain play but they aim to confuse the offense and change personnel based on gaining an advantage in terms of run/pass defense.

So much you have to learn yet I don't have the time to teach you.

He looked pretty good in those few drills they showed found the open wr in a even when gruden was trying to trick him. But the verbal language used in the auburn offense worrys me. I mean even in highschool our highschool play calling was more complexed than a simple 36 as the play.

Maybe it's not Auburn's playbook that was the problem. Maybe it was Newton not being able to learn the complex plays that they had to dumb it down for him? It's possible. I imagine Chud will have many sleepless nights struggling with Newton and the playbook.
