Winning creates excitement. Cam might be fun to watch at first but after they start 0-4 the "newness" will wear off.

Not necessarily true...at least for the intelligent football fan. After last season, we shouldn't have great expectations. Cam Newton may not even see the field this year, let alone the first few games (unless it's from the sidelines). Furthermore, I would think the newness would wear off after he has played somewhere between 3-8 quarters.

If we are at least in the games by the 4th quarter with an opportunity to win, people will be excited.

Wow that sucks for us. Although, one might argue that as there is not a signed contract between the club and the player, you are not trading a player but trading away your rights to sign that player. A small difference, but an important one.

You guys are amazing, how come you don't care about the CURRENT players on our team who want to WIN NOW!?! Beason, Smitty and Deangelo who are leaders on this team want to win NOW DAMN IT! They don't want to wait till next year's season to win.

Do you remember just going 2-14? Did they not feel that way least year?

Isn't it you that always makes out that QB's are the main man on the team?

I spent about a week away from the forum and was starting to warm to the idea of drafting Cam as a QB. Less than a day after being back I'm back to not wanting Cam just to piss off all the Cam nuthuggers that post about nothing else.

Don't take it personally man. The guy just wanted to stay in school and finish earning his degree. It had nothing to do with Carolina having the first pick.

This. Architectural Engineering is a fantastic degree especially from Stanford and I don't blame him for wanting to finish it out, play another year with his close friends, and party.

Anyway if we don't go QB this year, I'm on the Landry Jones bandwagon with Cousins and Barkley as the other solid options.

If only what "you wanted" mattered. Jerry Richardson would just give the ownership to any black man and then replace all white people on the team with black people, whether they are qualified or not. Then and only then, would you have nothing to complain about regarding this team.

KT, now this is the Panther forum run by JOAT. And as such if you don't fall in line with what the MODS think is best for the Panthers the MODs will harass, move or delete your posts. Skew is the guest MOD in this case who just likes to follow you wherever you go. Go figure.

No one has deleted his posts Kevin. But it was nice of you to defend KT. I always thought he was a big boy and he could take it as well as dish it out. I guess I stand corrected. Thanks for showing me the light on that.

Sorry if my posts offend you or make you upset. But when someone hands me bullshit and tries to tell me it's flowers, I'm going to call them out on it and let them know that all I see is bullshit.
