Who's to say we have to franchise Gross? We could Franchise Pep. Trade him. Gross can be left a FA. Free Agency doesn't start until the 27th, and if he wants to stay then he'll continue to work on a deal. There is really no rush. Let's get this Pep thing done first. Cut who we have to cut in order ot free up the Cap space to make it happen.

Honestly, I think we're going to see Peppers franchised, without having Gross signed. He'll sign with the Panthers, but I bet you it'll be closer to 10M per, or a much higher signing bonus. Gross will stay, but he has even more leverage AFTER Pep is franchised.
