can someone answer this for me. dont QBs have audio in their helmets still?and if so, dont qb coaches/ OCs tell QBs what to look for during the pre snap and in the huddle?

really thats the same as when a team looks to the sideline and get the audible. but the qb has to make all the calls and checks.

The audio cuts off a number of seconds into the play clock. I think it's 15 seconds to go, it goes silent, but I can't recall exactly.

Most D's don't really show their hands until late in the play clock now as well.

I am not sure if it is 15 or 20 seconds but you are right, the audio cuts off by the time the QB is at the line changing the play and calling out audibles.

even still after watching tape, coaches could tell their qb what to look for in situations especially in different downs and what to expect. coverage and blitz than the qb could know what to expect or look for.

Being told what to look for vs.and being able to read the defense, make the right decision, and execute it in a matter of seconds are two completely different things.
