Zombie aspect wasn't used during the actually movie. It was more of a epilogue to foreshadow how everything went down if they don't do a sequel.

TBH they don't need to do a sequel, it's called Planet of the Apes '68.

I actually expected it to be better. For some reason, it left me a bit disappointed. Draco Malfoy was a horrible actor, and there were some plot holes that left me hanging.

I do think it set it up for a good sequel though, because the story is already established now and the characters are somewhat developed. The sequel should be very exciting.

This, and his dialogue was just awful. They tried so very hard to make you hate him that he didn't have anything more to say than "Stupid monkeys!" and "I'll sock you good, stupid monkeys! Grrr!"

The movie overall was pretty good, though.

Malfoy was laughable. Never thought he was a very good villain in the HP movies either. Always seemed like a spoiled annoying bitch rather than an intimidating villain.
