I told my wife the situation had started to bug me.

She was totally taken aback.

She apologized and reiterated she had no idea it bothered me at all, since we seem to share the same brain, she assumed I found it as silly and inconsequential as she did.

She went further and told me the guy has always had a reputation for being super flirty but harmless, and quite possibly gay, but know one knows for sure.

She said since it bothered me, she blocked him.

Then she told me it was kinda cool to see me fired up again, like back in the single dating chimpanzee territorial days, and we had great marital relations last night.

My son didn't even come toddling in to interrupt.
