New Headphones...

Looking for suggestions on a set of new headphones to get. I have a pair of skullcandy skullcrushers and I love them but replacing the battery in the subwoofer gets a little annoying after awhile. I'm looking for DJ style headphones with really good audio quality. Anybody have a pair of Beats? Are they worth the money?? I've been using skullcandy headphones for so long that I really don't know what the best quality for the money is anymore. Also I would like them to be reasonably comfortable as I use my headphones A LOT. Your suggestions are appreciated...

I just got a new set of Plantronics wireless bluetooth headphones to work with my phone...

I like them except for one thing... they're not earbuds so (especially in the gym) they let in a lot of outside noise... other than that, they're great. Having no wires to deal with is awesome.

The Beat's Pro's are probably good if your Dj'ing. You hear more of the music and hear higher highs and lower low's. The Solo's aren't bad either, but you get a lot more bass. If thats your thing, go for those but with me I'd rather hear every part of the music instead of making it sound like I'm riding in my car.

But...they are expensive,

1. what purpose do you intend to use the headphones for? (music, gaming, working out)

2. price range?

3. If you intend on using them for mostly music, what kind of music? Hip-hop vs Rock mostly.

4. style/noise canceling? style being earbud/around the ear/over the ear/in ear.

I've got a pair of klipsch inear buds and a pair of sennheiser cans. *been doing a lot of research on next purchase*

Also on Beats by Dre, only get those if you're willing to pay for them. You can get similar sounding phones for a cheaper price, but i must admit they look good as well.
