need some help here.

So yesterday around noon the warning alarms go off up here near the power plant. They are these huge horns that rotate all over the lake norman area.

They do tests of them periodically, no big deal.

Strange thing is, about 15 minutes after they went off I saw a military helicopter, one of those that has two large rotors on top of it, one in front and one in back, heading directly for the nuclear plant.

I don't know about the helo, but I did hear that the Southport Nuke Plant here did a siren test yesterday too... maybe it was just a coincidence.... or part of the test.

Could it be like fire drills? When companies do those, the fire department comes out too. They helo needs practice too, I guess.

Yeah, my parents live near the plant on Lake Wylie. They run military drills around it all the time. Sometimes Anti-terrorism stuff. Which could explain the helo's/ Usually it's a couple F-16's that fly up from Seymour Johnson (lol) that will fly over. I've even been targeted on my pontoon. I waved...

The copter could have been part of a military exercise simulating meltdown or something... with the face of a "fire alarm" to it...

the special forces try to break in using those laser designators to "kill" the guards and stuff for exercises. sometimes they might just to sneak in or o balls to the wall with guns and stuff
