Bridge openings during rush hour

yeah. from over here... there aren't enough lanes for the volume until you cross the river, and every one is going in somewhat different directions. probably a quarter or maybe less go down 421, then equal parts go down MLK, through downtown or towards CB. basically there are 2 lanes for what needs 10.

It's all about where you work, and when.

If you are buying a home, and don't have to work in ILM at a 9-5er...Leland is great. However if you do have to do that, I would stick to NH county.

Luckily not buying. Just about to graduate up here and go back to school to get another degree @ UNCW. Will be living off college, probly on Racine.

Why? Is one ship really more important than hundreds(maybe even into the thousands when accounting for all directions) of cars?

It's happened four times this week that I know of. Three times were actually tankers going to the shipyard so MAYBE they are important enough, but Monday afternoon it was for a sailboat with a very tall mast. WTF?

Because the world revolves around sailboats, not you. Which is why I love to sail. I've been on both sides of the arguement. And I don't have a problem with the way it's done.

And you do know that the people on the sailboats are laughing at the people stuck in their cars at the bridge on their way to work as we slowly sail by, don't you? ;)

I get caught by the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge every morning....

....on my way to work at a hotel on the ocean with an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a hot tub.

sounds like you just need to leave about 15 minutes earlier cuz i'm pretty certain that one goes up on the hour.

and skew sucks
