I agree. Besides, where would Peppers fit into their defense? They are set at OLB with Woodley and Harrison. The only other place is DE and I'm not sure Pep is cut out to be a 3-4 DE. JMO

San Diego's wishful thinking, given that we have to get Rivers, Jackson, McNeill, and Merriman dealt long term, and I don't think the team has the money to throw anything Pep's way. The only way I see that happening is if it's a player swap. Rivers and Merriman are untouchable.

IMO, if it were to go down, it would be Peppers for McNeill or Jackson and Shaun Phillips (another reason I don't see Pep out west happening).
