LMAO and you have any credibility? yeah I made the thread, nearly a year ago and since then have been very supportive and very surprised. Coming in this kid had history against him. He decided he wants to be an NFL QB not some gimmick and has put forth the work to become one.

All that spewed 'I knew he would be...' are full of poo. No one KNEW anything, they guessed just like all the rest. I for one am very pleased to be wrong about the kid, it means the team has a very bright future.

And as for as credibility on a message board, if you really give a poo that you have cred on some board in cyber space with people you will never meet, you are a pathetic excuse for a human being and need to really get a life. (waiting for the witty retort about how special you are, all your worldly accomplishments etc...)

Saw him on the field for all 14 games in 2010. It was obvious (to me at least) that the kid was and is special. Capital S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Unique. Super-talented. Super-motivated. Smart.

The point you're arguing against is that noone knew he would be good. People can spout all day long that they knew this and knew that but the simple fact remains that the draft and translating a successful college career into a successful NFL career is an inexact science. Everyone not from the future or named Ms Cleo held their breath the first time Cam took the field for an NFL start because we simply didn't know.

Lots of people were convinced one way or another (and lots of people were famously wrong) but noone knew.

i was on the cam wagon much earlier than most in here. one of the first actually.

i remember some pretty lively debates with people who were ultimately proven to be wrong. even had a bet with JOAT about us drafting him that i won, of course. (i couldn't tell you what i won, though. wasn't really a big deal)

that said, i don't care who was against him as long as they back him now. bandwagon is enough for everyone.

it's only those unrepentant closed minded fools that have yet to jump on board.

i'm not interested in rubbing anyones nose in it who has changed their minds about him. everyone makes mistakes. in fact i respect those who can eat their crow and move on like so many have.

those that dug their heels into the ground and hold on to their narrow-minded opinions about newton or who just refuse to admit they were wrong might feel stronger because they didn't let go, but really they are just jokes that don't deserve to be taken seriously.

all these threads bumping up the past and trying to show people's ignorance or whatever...it's just silliness. get over it and move on.

the occasional bump is a little juvenile, but acceptable. the number of them thats getting bumped up recently is quite a bit over the top, though.

he's better than people thought he would be. we get it. get over it and start looking ahead.

aint going to lie, i love the poo. every time i(and others) would say something good about cam, we just got the your a hugger comment. even when things were said that had facts backing it or highlights,it still got shot down. some people did know he was going to be good because all of the signs were there and some of else seen them. sorry the ones with blinders couldnt see that for some reason.......
